frosties and fudgecicles - - laura lundahl baga

Through a little research I was able to totally curb the craving with this recipe. It is one of my most popular guides on SnapGuide so I thought you all might enjoy it as well. This exact recipe can also be frozen into popsicle molds to make what kids of the 90's will remember as Fudgecicles.
Speaking of Fudgecicles, let's talk popcicle molds for a second. Other than the recipe, this is what makes the popcicle. I went through a bunch of popcicle molds back when I first made this recipe. I first got plastic-based ones. Good, but kind of annoying to clean. Also, you can't take them places - the plastic bases are part of what makes the mold. So you'll have to spend part of the party making sure people return your popcicle bases. No thanks.
When I found this mold, it was perfect. It uses wooden popcicle sticks, which you can reuse or compost, but don't have to worry about not getting back. Just run a little hot water over the mold when fully frozen and they slide right out. Store each one in plastic sandwich bags or foil in the freezer. And it goes in the dishwasher and gets fully clean. Bonus.
I also like this specific mold because the base is clear, which makes layering cool-looking fruit popcicles easy.
And now for my Frosty - Fudgecicle recipe:
